Day 0-1:

México  -  Chile

On day 0 we will fly from Mexico to Peru (flights not included) the recommended flight from CDMX to Lima takes off at 10:05 pm, because of that we count that day as day 0.

We will arrive in Lima at approximately 5:00 am, from there we will move to the Lima bus station and board a bus bound for Huaraz for a journey of approximately 8 hours. (If you want to spend more time in Lima or make another plan, you can join us at the Lima headquarters or directly in Huaraz, we will help you with the logistics).

After a good rest, we will begin this adventure with an acclimatization walk to Laguna Churup.

Day 2:

Day 3:

Very early in the morning we will pick up a transport along with all the camping equipment, food, guide and cook to head south, passing through the typical towns of Recuay and Ticapampa, until we reach Queropalca. (Approx. 7 hrs on the road)

 

Upon arriving at Queropalca we will lower all the equipment and prepare to begin our first walk on this route in the Huayhuash Mountain Range.

We will walk approximately 3 hours to Laguna Carhuacocha and there we will prepare our first camp.

Mirador Base Torres

22 km  |  8 - 9 hrs  |  desnivel 960 m

Day 4:

Almirante Nieto

18 km  |  7 - 8 hrs  |  desnivel 470 m

This day is one of the most impressive and beautiful days because we will walk in front of the majestic snow-capped Yerupaja, the highest in this mountain range, along with 3 beautiful lagoons (Ganracocha, Siula and Quesillacocha) and because you will be able to enjoy the panoramic view of many snow-capped mountains. and gaps.

Day 5:

Carhuacocha - Laguna Mitucocha

After breakfast we will begin to walk next to the lagoon and we will leave the classic path to turn east along an inconspicuous path that goes very close to the snow-capped mountains and allows us to reach the Alcaycocha lagoon and a spectacular viewpoint, after resting and drinking thousands of For photos we will continue towards the high point that has a unique view of the snow-capped mountains such as Hirishanca, Yerupaja, Ninashanca, Rondoy and others.

Day 6:

Laguna Mitucocha - Quartelhuain 

16 km  |  5 - 6 hrs |  desnivel 520 m

After a restful rest and after breakfast we will begin to walk towards the Ninacocha lagoon located at the foot of the snow-capped Hirishanca and Ninashanca, this place offers a wonderful view, after resting in the lagoon and after taking many photos we will continue with the walk this instead downhill and flat to the classic path that goes to the Cacanan pass, then we will have lunch and continue our adventure descending to the Matacancha camp.

Day 7:

Quartelhuain -  Paso Rondoy - Jahuacocha

On this day we will ascend to the Huandoy pass, from the pass we will have a panoramic view of the Northeast face of the Huayhuash Mountain Range, the snowy peaks that stand out are: Yerupajá (6634 meters above sea level, the second highest in Peru), Jirishanca, Ninashanca, Rondoy and the Mexico Hill.

Finally we will descend to the Solterococha lagoon and camp in Januacocha.

Aventura en Torres del Paine

1 / ¿Cuál es el nivel de dificultad?

Es un trek de dificultad moderada con alto desnivel, ideal para personas activas que hacen ejercicio regularmente. No se requiere experiencia técnica, pero sí una buena condición física, ya que se caminan entre 15 y 20 km diarios con subidas, bajadas y mochilas con peso de entre 5 a 6 kilos.

*Si quieres ser parte de esta aventura pero aún no te sientes listo físicamente, no te preocupes: tienes tiempo para prepararte. Con la actitud adecuada y un entrenamiento previo, cualquier persona con salud y constancia puede completar el trek.
¡Tu cuerpo es capaz de más de lo que crees!

2 / ¿Hay señal de celular o wifi?

En la mayor parte del recorrido no hay señal ni internet, lo cual es parte del encanto del parque. Algunos refugios ofrecen WiFi por un costo adicional, pero es intermitente y limitado.

3 / ¿Qué pasa si no puedo continuar el trek?

Una vez que comenzamos el Día 2 del trek, ya no hay forma de salir del parque fácilmente. Desde ese punto estamos en zonas más remotas del circuito, sin acceso directo a carreteras o salidas.

Por eso, es muy importante que si alguien no se siente en condiciones de continuar, lo comunique al guía o al equipo antes de iniciar el Día 2.

4 / ¿Puedo llevar mi propia comida?

Sí, es totalmente válido llevar tu propia comida si quieres ahorrar o prefieres cocinar. Solo necesitas planificar bien lo que vas a consumir, ya que no podrás comprar alimentos dentro del parque (salvo snacks a precios elevados).

5 / ¿Qué tipo de comida es recomendable llevar?

Lo más práctico son los sobres de comida deshidratada o liofilizada, ya que pesan poco, duran mucho y solo requieren agua caliente para prepararse. Hay opciones de pastas, sopas, guisos, incluso desayunos y postres. Algunas marcas conocidas: Backpacker's Pantry, Mountain House, LYO Food, Knorr (económica), y algunas marcas locales en Chile y Argentina.

6 / ¿Necesito alguna Visa u otro documento?

No, si tu pasaporte es de México no necesitas otro documento.

7 / ¿En dónde termina la Aventura?

La aventura termina en Puerto Natales, en dónde tendremos una última comida de despedida para terminar el día volando de regreso a Santiago y a México (Si deseas volver pronto a México).
